- Business Information The Korea TEchnology finance Corporation(KOTEC) is a specialized financial institution established under the Technology Guarantee Fund Act, which provides technology guarantees and appraisals to technology-innovative companies with a focus on improving their technological competitiveness. It is responsible for creating sustainable growth engines of rour economy, and is a government-funded agency.
- Technology - Technology guarantee: is for small and medium-sized enterprises with high future value such as technological and business viability, even if they have insufficient collateral * Major green finance support programs (1) Carbon value assessment guarantee: guarantee support for companies that promote greenhouse gas reduction projects with actual or expected greenhouse gas reduction performance by applying the carbon value assessment model (2) Renewable energy guarantee: guarantee support for renewable energy companies that have been identified as eligible for Green Innovation Finance Business(Green Guarantee) by the Korea Energy Agency - Technology appraisal: is utilized for financial and non-financial support tools accordingly by appraising intangible technology in terms of technological feasibility, marketability, and business viability - Technology transfer: is supported by matching the technology demand of small and medium-sized enterprises with the technology created by public institutions and universities - Direct investment: is applicable for outstanding technology start-ups and technology-innovative companies by linking guarantees with equity investment such as new stock issuance or convertible bonds - Technology protection: provides comprehensive support for protecting and promoting the transactions of technologies held by small and medium-sized enterprises
